Krzysztof Zembrzycki is a PhD student at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (IPPT PAN).
His specialty is optoelectronics and he also has experience in programming and conducting simulations. His research topics are varied and include material science, electrospinning of polymer nanofibers, nanotechnology and nanomanipulation, diffusion processes in micro and nanoscale, particle tracking velocimetry (PTV), total internal reflection microscopy, computer image analysis, and molecular dynamics simulations. Krzysztof has experience in designing and building experimental devices, and also in writing programs for their control and data analysis.
His current work is focused on the development of Optical Tweezers coupled with and Atomic Force Microscope and, using this apparatus, on the study of the processes of diffusion of nanoparticles, suspended in fluids, in the ballistic regime.
