Magdalena Bartolewska is a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN). She has experience in synthesizing and characterizing various nanoparticles, such as gold nanoparticles and selenium nanoparticles, for medical applications. She developed a new polymer-ceramic biocomposite covered with selenium nanoparticles intended for applications in bone regenerative medicine during her master's thesis. During doctoral studies, her research activities focus on issues of regenerative medicine, especially wound healing and bioinspired materials. Her research interests primarily focus on developing novel drug delivery systems for wound healing and atopic dermatitis.
