Alicja Kosik-Kozioł is an assistant professor at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (IPPT PAN). She has a strong passion for innovating and commercializing in nanotechnology and possesses a wealth of knowledge across multiple disciplines, including materials science, chemistry, biomedical engineering, and business administration. With a proven track record of high-quality research outputs in the field of tissue engineering, she is an experienced and multi-disciplinary researcher. She specializes in several areas, including 3D Bioprinting, fused deposition modelling, electrospinning, microfluidic systems, cell biology, biomaterials, and polymer chemistry, focusing on developing innovative wound-healing platforms. Her work includes developing miRNA delivery systems, intelligent antimicrobial peptides, drug delivery systems, fibrous electrospun mats, and 3D hydrogel platforms. Additionally, her exceptional communication skills enable her to maintain a global network of renowned partners for international collaboration.
